The F-15 Eagle is a twin engine tactical fighter aircraft that was designed by McDonnell Douglas(now Boeing) in 1967. The US Air Force selected the F-15 Eagle to be a pure air superiority fighter. The F-15 is also used by Israel, Japan and Saudi Arabia, with Israel Air Force recording the most kills with this aircraft. In 1989 F-15E Strike Eagle was created. Right now the F-15 is scheduled to be service until 2025 with production ending in 2019. In January 1976 the first F-15 Eagle destined for a combat squadron was delivered the 555th Tactical Fighter Squadron, also known as Triple Nickel. For this reason we chose to incorporate their patch on the bottom of the F-15 Challenge Coin. This aircraft is scaled to size at 3 inches and has a polished nickel finish to really make it pop.
This diecast challenge coin is 3 inches in size with a polished nickel finish.
